Keeping medical drone flights connected with dual SIM
Morpheus Logistik flies lab samples, blood units and frozen sections by drone on fixed routes, controlled from a control centre in Dortmund. Because the drones constantly switch cells at 50 to 80 metres altitude, Telekom IoT provides a dedicated network profile, Best Coverage and a second SIM as a fallback for SAIL III routine operations.
Retrofitting heat meters with NB-IoT for remote reading
